New Art! New Art! New kickassy original proof for a silkscreen Joe Strummer, painted by our genius friend, Weldon Poapst. It's technically Neil's.... technically.

Neil's stuff is cooler than mine. :(

Photo Two Hundred Thirteen

While trying to take a self portrait in the jeep tonight without a flash (I know, I'm exceptionally cool), the shutter time was taking too long because it was too dark, so I pointed the camera at the light from the clock to finish up. It turned out kind of creepy & neat, I thought. You can see the numbers at the bottom.

Tested out my new sewing machine tonight, I made "Willy Wonky" the raggy dachshund for Miss L. Hee hee, it's pretty ugly. She likes it though, so... tomorrow I am apparently making a Kirby?

I painted little faces all day long and didn't have time to stop and take photos, it was so busy! So Neil is credited with my photo of the day. It's not against the rules because I'm in it. Also, I make up the rules; often on the spot.

Today, I've been making my kids be practice guinea pigs for my new face painting endeavor. They don't object too much so far.

So I took this one in the Byward today. There are only two people in the reflection who are actual human beings, the rest are a part of a little China Town diorama in the store behind the window. They're 3 inch figurines. Can you spot the real people & which buildings exist and which are replicas?

Shiny new strings. What a difference: the others were nearly 2 years old and shamefully dead.

Reason #467382342 why Neil is awesome: He draws custom ninjas on the boring, yellow, dollar store wrapping paper for our 7 year old. Awww!

Home made birthday card that I received from friends, Weldon & Janna. Cracks me up. I think 'zany' is a euphemism....

Photo One Hundred Nine

The shockingly nerdy, homemade, duct-tape-arm on my glasses. As usual, my stunning beauty makes it barely noticeable as shown in this self portrait... but I can get to the grocery store legally, ideally without running over anyone until Monday which is payday... which is in turn, new contact lenses day.
