It's vegetable delivery day! The current highlight of my life is the delivery of surprise fruit & vegetables every other Wednesday to my house.

Candle light dinner, just for kicks. The kids thought it was pretty fun. I think we'll do this more often, along with dessert first.

Our next experiment will be to eat dinner with no utensils. I'm such a weird mother. Keeps them on their toes, though... or maybe I just have cabin fever. It will either illustrate nicely the importance of manners or totally backfire in my face and they'll never want utensils again. I'm betting on the former.

Hehehe. You have to make your own fun.

Shadowbeard. It's my pirate name.
Yep. I'm lame. Just what you were dying to see... another extreme close up of myself.

My poor photo blog is going to get more attention this week. I've been waaaay too slackery. Slackery is a good word, if you're too much of a slacker to think of another.

6 am, I roll over and pry open one eyeball. Something is stirring in Gotham.
I have my blackberry handy to capture the moment.
This is how my day starts: peed pants Batman/Eleanore.

Curses on you CBC Radio! You've suckered me into urgently needing to buy another hard cover book. Don't you want my family to eat, CBC? Hm? You and your seductive talk shows about books.
